While I say, “Ughhh” to the smoking, I love an old classic look for fashion or comics. Western drawing has such defined lines around facial features and bone structure. I have to give that lady credit for the lips and nails too. So fifties!

Hi there, Kate here. It seems like the right time for this freshly-minted college grad to start a blog of all the things that interest me. Expect to see a lot of current culture through art, beauty, books, comics, poetry, fashion and more. Just as important- the history and background that informs it.
